Announcement for the March 2026 event

regarding our database transition

With the next event about a month away, we’d like to share an important update regarding registration, character updates, and rules for this event. For this upcoming event:

  1. Event registration should be completed through the new database:

https://numina.lorelogic.info/

  1. Info Skills and character updates should continue to be submitted through the old database:

https://larpdb.azurewebsites.net/

  1. PEL submissions will also be handled through the old database.

At this time, the new database is not yet fully configured to support the new Numina rules published this year. For this reason, everything in the the new rules, with the exception of the refined rules of etiquette, will go live in the May 2026 event as part of the completed database transition.Additional notes:

  • CP from the last event has been added. If you believe you have other outstanding CP, please contact me directly via DM.

  • If you purchase an Info Skill after the usual deadline due to this transition, please reach out. We’ll ensure your Info Skill is answered, provided it isn’t too far outside the normal window

Thank you for your patience as we continue this transition. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in Fortune’s Bend soon!— Josh

Per our Post Game announcement - we are still working on the transition and any member of our community who is interested in volunteering to aid with the database transition should contact numinadirector@gmail.com

What is Numina like?

Daring Deeds! Spooky Monsters! Bold brave heroes fighting against the odds for what’s right.

You arrive on site Friday afternoon or evening and show your proof of vaccination to our logistics staffer at check in. Get any last minute questions answered. Get in costume and get settled in your cabin.

Before we start there is a pre-game announcements meeting in or near the tavern when game runners go over important info and answer questions.

New players start their first few events on a special “new player mod” (we call adventures players have “modules” or “mods”) where you’ll meet other players who are “young at heart” and get your first taste of taking part in boffer combat.

Game usually begins around 10pm or so on Friday night. Everyone is in character the entire weekend though there are always a few people around who will be flexible to help answer out of game questions. The big event of Friday evening is usually finished by 1am or so - some people stay up later than that

Saturday breakfast is at 10am and Dinner at 6pm - again the big “town fight” (a module where all players participate at once) is usually finished by 1am or so. Most adventures throughout the event won’t include all players at the same time as there are usually multiple things happening at once - all with smaller groups. These smaller adventures (mods) take place throughout the day and parts of the night, but not during meals. NPC will visit to talk and share information. Players who stayed up late the night before might find time for a nap.

Sunday’s breakfast is at 10am and typically followed by one more adventure that involves all players. The game is called off around midday, followed by clean up tasks.
