Weekend Long Immersion
Numina events run Friday night through Sunday afternoon
4 events a year (Harrisonburg VA & Prince William VA)
Once game starts we are in character until game ends.
Story Focused
Numina’s setting is high fantasy (grand heroes & villians, magic, dragons, etc.), with some steampunk/technomagic elements. Very heavy emphasis on storytelling and role play. You’ll encounter a wide variety of characters inspired by modern and classic tales alike. As an independent game we can create stories together and use that freedom and flexibility to our advantage.
Light Touch Combat
Accelerant rules are focused on allowing boffer combat to enhance the story while prioritizing safety. They are streamlined to be easy to remember and understand on the field.
Numina 3
A continuous story (Numina 1 &2) has been running since 2011, and we are excited that our N2 campaign ended in January 2023. Jumping forward in the timeline N3 features new cultures, new game rules, and new challenges for our PCs (player characters). Our campaign opener was May 2023 and so with only a few events under our belts so far, we are just getting started with this all new story.
